This old chestnut is revived thanks to David Anderson of the Daily Mirror, who wrote a peach of a piece this week; taking nonsense to new heights. There are a few perennial contenders for this popular feature on TTT, but it’s too easy to give it to Paul Merson, for suggesting, sarcastically, that Rafa is the kind of manager who’d want to win the Europa League (I mean, what the… ?), or Mark Lawrenson, for a piece so offensive in using Hillsborough to attack Rafa, even the Daily Mirror removed it. No, this time it goes to man whose name is synonymous with pants.
Mark Lawrenson has launched a massive broadside at Rafa Benítez in the Daily Mirror. Nothing like sticking together in difficult times, eh?
