The Reds travel to the Goldsands Stadium at Dean Court, to give it its shiny if overly long full title, on Saturday for this FA Cup Round 4 tie. Despite the 12.45 kick off and 250-odd mile journey from Liverpool, all away tickets have been sold, though some further seats were released for sale to Reds fans today. Don’t suppose they’ll last long. There’ll either be a lot of very early starts on Saturday or a few overnight stops at the seaside on Friday night.

The Cherries currently sit 16th in the Championship with 31 points from 26 games. Their last outing, last weekend, was a 1-1 home draw with Watford.

Whilst Liverpool were dispatching Oldham at Anfield in Round 3, Bournemouth were beating League 2 high-flyers Burton Albion 4-1 at Dean Court in a rearranged match following a postponement for a waterlogged pitch. The postponement came too late to prevent some Burton fans travelling, which led to the thoroughly decent gesture by Bournemouth fans of raising some money to pay for a few coach loads of Burton fans for the rearranged midweek game.
